The 24GB variant, likely part of the Arc PRO series, will expand Intel’s portfolio into areas like data centers, edge computing, and education. It targets users who demand higher memory for tasks such as AI inference, generative AI, and creative workloads. The current Battlemage lineup, including the Arc B580 with 12GB of GDDR6 memory, focuses on gaming and mid-range consumers.

Intel Adapts to AI Market Growth

Insiders suggest that growing demand in the AI sector has influenced Intel's decision to offer a higher-memory option. By 2025, the new GPU will double the memory capacity of the existing Arc B580 while maintaining compatibility with productivity-focused tasks.

"The 24GB model will serve productivity markets while existing versions continue to support gaming and consumer use," reported Quantum Bits.

The larger memory buffer will allow applications such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and complex AI processes to run more efficiently.
